 Exterior View Main StairClassroomPlaygroundLower School Addition, Lincoln School In this project at a K-12 independent school for girls, we carefully placed a 10,000 SF addition in a nearly forgotten portion of the campus, using a lushly wooded ravine to develop ties between indoors and out, and providing direct access to the outside for all classrooms. Loft play spaces, large windows in each classroom, and outdoor teaching spaces all contribute to the feeling of learning among the treetops. A new playground serves as a welcoming entry and provides a focal point around which the rest of the Lower School is organized.
