This project implements the first phase in Emerson College's program of exterior restoration for four recently acquired, early 20th century buildings. An exhaustive study addressed both the causes and remedies of this 1916 Gothic skyscraper's water damaged stone veneer and structural frame.

Work includes masonry and roof repair, window replacement, lighting, and new signage. The academic calendar places considerable time restraints on the work. Careful coordination with preservation and neighborhood groups is also required.
