This vacation house is located in a woodland of scrub oaks and wild blueberry bushes. It is oriented around a circular court whose focal point is an ancient oak tree. Inside, a curved hallway traces a circular path through the house, creating a rhythmic sequence of private and communal spaces.

We developed the 2,400 SF plan to provide a variety of quiet areas for reading, study, and writing for this small family. A second story living room with cantilevered outdoor deck takes advantage of distant ocean views.
